At FloriFence, we try to make every fence installation affordable for our client’s specific budget. However, the larger your property or higher quality materials you choose, the more your fencing project will inevitably cost. While we never recommend skimping on quality, there are several ways you can make your next fencing installation more affordable:
Make the installation easier for your contractor.
Your contractor needs to take care of the major adjustments to your property such as sloping issues, but you can make their job easier by removing smaller plants, debris, or other impediments to the job site.
Choose pre-cut toppers and gate designs.
At FloriFence, we love to customize fence toppers, trims, and gates for our clients. However, if you’re on a tight budget, you can choose pre-cut designs that are just as beautiful, and don’t require extra labor time. We can customize your fence with color instead to give it a nice pop and still remain within a modest budget.
Install in the fall or winter.
FloriFence doesn’t increase prices seasonally, but we do sometimes have to pay more for materials in the busy months due to increased demand. Fall and winter are typically our slow seasons, which means you can sometimes get deals on materials and won’t have to wait so long to schedule your installation. It’s a win-win!
Choose a low-maintenance material option.
Fence costs aren’t just about the initial installation. High-maintenance fences will cost you to clean and retouch, and they won’t last as long. That is why we recommend that our clients go ahead and spend a little extra on the installation so they don’t have to replace their fencing prematurely or pay for expensive pressure washing treatments on an annual basis.
Keep your fence in good condition.
The best way to save on your next installation is to delay it. By keeping your fence cleaned, lubricated, you won’t have to pay for paint retouching as frequently, and can start saving for your next fence instead of installing it soon. With proper care, a vinyl or metal fence can last a lifetime, so invest in its care!
Fencing installations can be expensive, which is why FloriFence strives to do it right the first time, for less. Contact us today to learn more about our fencing options!
